1 痛い (itai, "painful") here is a grammatically viable homophone for いたい (itai, "I want to stay"). まだいたいよ could be translated "I want to stay here still" or "I don't want to leave yet".

2 The word "kurete" here is written 暮れて "to grow dark", "to come to a close", connecting it to the coming of the night later in the line. However, it's also a homophone for 呉れて "please"/"for me" and connects musically and grammatically with the line before it as well. I've translated its meanings separately on both lines to account for this.
