I'm staying in a single room in a town called Lund. Geographically speaking, it's an ancient city located at the southernmost tip of the country, a college town that's home to Sweden's oldest university.[1] The Lund Cathedral was apparently built in the 12th century; installed inside of it is an old astronomical clock with automata that move twice a day to announce certain times. It feels like it's becoming my daily routine here to find a seat in the cathedral, outside of prayer services, then sit in a daze and think about songs.
I'm thinking back on my time spent living in Sekimachi, and writing music.

[1] This isn't quite true. Lund University is Sweden's second oldest university. The oldest is Uppsala University, founded in 1477.
